Squall Riders is out now on Steam for Windows and macOS. It's developed by Bitmagic and published by us, and it's a jet-ski racing game where the whole ocean is the track.

Every swell is a ramp

There is no track to follow, only the swell. Climb a wave face flat out, launch off the lip and fly. Hit it faster and you fly higher. Land your tricks to charge SURGE, then burn it to blast past four rivals through three storms that build while you race:

• Lighthouse Reef: open-sea swell round a lonely lighthouse, from golden hour into a full thunderstorm
• Harbor Surge: slalom between anchored ships, then the storm swell slamming the breakwater as night falls over the city
• Arctic Drift: a canyon of towering icebergs, ice ramps below a glacier, and the aurora

Six ways to ride

• Storm Race against four rivals, and a Time Trial against the ghost of your best run
• Stunt Park: ramps, gaps and rings
• Splash Ball: one on one against a rival rider
• Slalom and Big Wave

Pick one of five riders: Pip the penguin, Kai, Mara the crocodile, Dex the robot or Nova the veteran. Every race and round pays out Spray, which you spend in the garage on paint jobs, colors, underglow, decals, bolt-on parts and rider gear. No microtransactions, ever.

Squall Riders is $9.99, and it's 10% off ($8.99) until November 3. It has full controller support and 11 languages.
