Description
Short (50 words)
Cabinet Fever is an arcade tycoon where every cabinet is a real game. Run an arcade from 1972 to 1998: buy machines, set the prices, then click a cabinet and play it yourself. 31 machines, four halls, a growing crowd. Out on Steam November 5, 2026, for Windows and macOS.
Long (150 words)
It is 1972 and you rent a tiny corner unit with one cabinet and a bucket of quarters. In Cabinet Fever, every machine you add earns money, and every machine is a real, playable game: click a cabinet, the camera dives into its screen and you play it for real. There are 31 of them, from 1972 to 1998, including shooters, racers, mazes, fighters, pinball and prize machines, and the medals you win on each one make that machine earn more.
Buy, place and sell cabinets, set the price of every play, keep machines repaired, hire staff, decorate with neon and a mirror ball, and watch tiny patrons feed in coins and play the machines you chose. Grow through four halls, from the Corner Nook to the Neon Megaplex, as the cars, clothes, colours and music change with the decades. Out on Steam November 5, 2026, for Windows and macOS.
The pitch
Run an arcade from 1972 to 1998, where every cabinet you buy is a real game you can play.
Features
Click a cabinet and the camera dives into its screen, and you play it for real. Win bronze, silver and gold medals on every machine; medals make that machine earn more.
Paddles, bricks and pinball, shooters, mazes and puzzles, racers, fighters and brawlers, plus prize machines, hoops and dance pads.
Buy, place, rotate, move and sell cabinets, and set the price of every play: cheap, fair or premium. Run promotions and protect your reputation.
Service and upgrade machines, because a broken cabinet earns nothing. Hire an Attendant, a Cleaner, a Mechanic, Security and a Manager, and pay the rent every week.
Decorate the hall with plants, neon, bulbs, carpet, a mirror ball, a mezzanine and more, then watch patrons walk in, feed a coin and play the machines you chose.
Move up through four halls as the cars, clothes, colour grade and music change with the decades. Your arcade keeps earning while you are away, up to a limit.
